The Poke Festival was a success!  Maybe it rained a little…..but that didn’t stop everyone from stuffing their faces and soaking in the island vibes!  Us Musubi peeps are pretty tired and needed a day of rest, so sorry for not blogging this earlier.  We actually didn’t get to take the day off yesterday, but had to clean up the rest of what we left at Bali Hai, then we took some time off in the evening to watch some UFC and Pride action in HD.  Anyways, here are some photos a day later…………  DID YA’LL HAVE FUN?

There was SO much aloha in the air last night. Something about Waimea Valley, I always have the most epic times there … I think it’s because there is slim to no reception on cell phones — forces everyone to talk to each other and have ridiculous times.

Hey peoples!  Yep, that’s right.  The Kalapana concert has been cancelled.  Not a big enough response coming through, so HIC’s gonna regroup and bring them back early next year.  Times are tough and not everyone has the extra income to buy concert tix.  Hopefully we’ll see Kalapana, Three Plus and the guys soon!

There was a constant flow of people at the restaurant the whole time I was there. Thank God the line wasn't like the one at PIFA! You feel me?

Had to kick it off with some lumpia.

BBQ chicken and shortribs with red rice and green salad. The chicken is my favorite!

Janet (lt) and Natalie (rt) enjoyed every bite. They've never tried this kind of food, and they even tried things they wouldn't normally eat, and pretty much liked it all : )

This is the CG crew that makes it all happen. It's ALWAYS fun to eat good food prepared by good peeps. (Tell them they better not run out of dessert next time I come in!)
